LittleBigAwoglet 2 Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

This page contains both our Terms of Service (a contract that covers your use of the game) and our Privacy Policy (a notice about how your data is handled). By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to both parts. If you don't agree, please don't use the online features.
Terms of Service
1. This is a fan project
Just like it says in the footer. LittleBigPlanet and all related trademarks are owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment. This project is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or approved by Sony, Media Molecule, Sumo Digital, The Station, Tarsier Studios or XDev Europe.
2. Your content and our license to host it
When you publish a level, avatar, or description, you keep whatever rights you have. To make the game work, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and share that content within this game and on its official website or social media (e.g., to show off cool stuff you made). This license applies only as long as your content remains published; if you delete it, the license ends. We will NEVER sell your levels or use them outside of running and promoting this free game.
3. Community Rules
You also agree to follow our Community Rules at all times. Those rules are part of these Terms, and breaking them can result in whatever necessary action being taken against you.
4. Copyright (DMCA)
We respect the rights of creators. If you believe something in the game infringes your copyright, send a message to .cabfile on Discord with enough detail for us to investigate. Upon receiving a valid takedown notice, we will remove the content. If a takedown notice targets your level, we'll remove it and let you know.
5. "As-is" service
This game is a free hobby project. We don't guarantee the online service will always be up, or that data will never be lost (though we do our best). You use it at your own risk. We aren't liable for issues arising from use of the game.
Privacy Policy
What we collect and why
To make the game work, we collect only a minimal amount of personal data: your IP address, account name, the levels you publish, and any avatar or description you set. We use this data solely to provide the game's core features, like hosting levels and enabling multiplayer. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.
Data sharing and storage
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers. To provide the multiplayer features, we use a third-party service called Photon (by Exit Games). When you play online, Photon processes your IP address and a player identifier so that you can connect to other players. Photon acts as a data processor on our behalf, and their own privacy policy applies to how they handle that data. You can read Photon's privacy policy HERE.
All other data is stored on our own servers and is only accessible to us, the game's developers.
Third-party services
We currently use Photon for multiplayer connectivity. Photon is operated by Exit Games and is a separate service. Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policy, not ours. We're not responsible for their practices, but we chose them because they're a widely used and trusted solution for indie games. If you have questions about how Photon handles your data, please check their policy or contact them directly.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (details below). If you delete a level from within the game, that content is removed from our servers.
Age requirement
This game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under that age. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
